What even do I say about this. All I could think of reading the last couple chapters was how meatbun allegedly wanted to do bad end but didn’t because the fans would scream. She’s right.
Even though I knew kind of what was coming, I still almost teared up at the tombstones. Fuck.
Something I love about meatbun is how absolutely ridiculous certain plot elements can get and yet rather than think “this is the dumbest, most contrived thing I’ve ever read” instead I think “oh, you mad genius, meatbun. You’ve done it again!”
From any other author, I wouldn’t put up with it. But from her? I’ll eat it up every time.
Oh, I did pull a quote because of course it resonated with my anti-generative AI crusade:
